New album from Brookland band ACOR, which has left me immediately captured and ready to dive into this deep pool. This record is a perfect blend of the homage to the past and the modern construction of the future. Well deep power and resonant vocals carry these stalking shadow woven songs. It's concrete wilderness and Peter Murphy poetry. Ringing guitars and driving basslines carry a heroic journey through a desolate land. preciousken

It's so hard to pick just one favourite track. The whole album is just so magical, so special!
It's like a warm shroud of enveloping, nourishing darkness. Onyx Tomb

I like the subtle way in which the tracks connect to the album cover, making this resting maiden the center point — calm in the midst of storm. (Just my interpretation maybe but the cover gives extra depth to the music... a softer undertone). The image reminds me of ‘Annunciation’ by Dante G. Rossetti used in ‘Adrenaline’ music video.
‘Smoke and Mirrors’ puts me at peace with big disappointments — a bittersweet musical potion.

Perfectly gloomy Norwegian goth/post-punk, anchored by a punchy rhythm section and driven by chiming guitar lines and morose vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 16, 2021

Absolutely one of my favorite goth rock bands and albums!! I listen to this album on repeat sometimes; it just never gets old to me. It’s so haunting and beautiful in places and dark and gritty in others, which makes it exemplary goth rock music in my opinion. Exactly the kind of listening experience I want and enjoy so much.
